Brooke is a big fan!

She cried because we were not giving it to her fast enough the first night!  haha :)

Now she eats it every day at breakfast and "dinner" at 4:30.

Such a big girl!

So.... remember when you were a kid and you were supposed to smile for the camera?

And all you wanted to do is make a funny face instead?

That's what we've been getting a lot of around here lately...

I said "Stand next to it and I'll take your picture."

Then I said "Okay, now a nice one."

and we get a blank stare at the camera...

hahahahaha.

Four Months

Brooke is four months old.  She weighs 12 pounds and is 24 and a half inches tall.  She LOVES watching her brother and she likes her bouncy seat the best of all the places I have to put her.  She likes being on her belly, and is trying hard to learn how to sit up by herself.  She eats every three hours during the day and sleeps from about 10-7 overnight... but sometimes she has a hard time making it to 7!  As you can see from the video, she loves to make all kinds of noises, but we are still waiting to hear her laugh! :)

Do you want to fly a kite?

Brooke's best nap is the first one in the morning - from 8-10.  Connor's loudest time of day is first thing in the morning... so today we went outside!  In our jammies!

We noticed it was breezy... so Connor thought it was the perfect time to fly a kite. 

I obliged.

The rest of the time was spent really trying to fly a kite.  I thought it was pretty funny.  So did Connor.

Connor's version of kite flying is running with the kite "flying" behind him.  This was okay today because there really wasn't that much wind.

Three months

Three months old on the 22nd!  Going to the doctor's to check her weight this week. :)

Time is flying by and crawling so slowly at the same time. ;)

August has been a blur.  Started with a camping trip, trip to Pittsburgh, my grandma passing away, Connor staying with his grandparents, school starting, new job at the tutoring center starting, house guests, birthday party, baptisms....

Bring it on September.  We can handle it. ;)

July part three was our Barton/Sanders/Davis/Hoffman camping weekend.  Only we didn't camp... well... some of us camped out in the backyard, some of us slept inside... and we did make camp cooker sandwiches, and we had a bonfire every night.  :)

Peter-boy!

Very close to the Codorus camping grounds is the swimming pool.  We went on Friday and had a day of fun!

Kevin and Bill went down the slides - can you see Kevin?  The top of his head is barely visible on the left slide! ;)
