just another day... just another picture...

Nothing super special about these days here... just playing, teaching, and getting the jobs done.  

But every once in a while I remember to get a picture or two. :)

Brooke loves all of Connor's toys. 
This picture was specifically for the slippers she is wearing.

Connor's love of stuffed animals has not diminished ... he loves to play with them. 
This particular day he was building nests for them to sleep in.

Ten Months

Brooke is two months shy of one year old and it doesn't seem possible!  She is showing signs of personality that continues to make us smile and keep us on our toes.  She loves to crawl, pull up on furniture, and has started letting go and standing for about a minute before falling down.  She likes to ride in the stroller and she loves being in the bathtub.  She has started feeding herself the bottle and is eating "big people" food now.  She has recently started giving kisses and snuggle hugs which is so cute!  We love you Brooke!

So I bought these cute, adorable little shoes for Brooke's sweet little feet.

We were baking cookies, and Brooke was keeping herself entertained too - notice the bottle of ranch by her feet... which are sock less.  haha... oh... joy!

We love a good snow day around here!

Connor and Brooke have fun playing with Dad, and mom enjoys having another person to help out during the day! :)

Brooke is nine months - and full of life and love!  She continues to bring smiles to our faces and keep us on our toes as she is crawling, pulling up on the furniture, and trying to stand by herself.  She will walk if you hold her hands, but hasn't figured out how to 'cruise' on the furniture yet.  She enjoys all the foods she has tried and can sign more.  She weighed in at 15 lbs 12 oz and is 27 inches tall.  She likes to look at books and play peek-a-boo.  She is very friendly and likes to wave at anyone who will watch! 

snow-bears

Brooke has been sporting her snowsuit more often because of the cold weather, and because we switched out her infant car seat for another one (Thanks Chris Hoffman!!).  She can't just be bundled up in the "Casserole cover" anymore so she has to stay warm in the snowsuit instead.

Needless to say, it's adorable!  It has little ears and a bear face on the hood.

We had one of these for Connor too - in a 3 month size, for his first winter... it was a bit bigger on him then the one we have for Brooke, but he was just as cute! :)

bath time

so this is the first time they were in the tub together.

she has figured out how to sit still and not slip in the tub - so she's a happy girl in the bath! :)

Connor prefers showers these days - big kid stuff of course. ;)
