hair-do a-rama

Since finding out that our second baby was a girl, I have been waiting and waiting. And waiting.
Waiting until her hair was grown in enough to start "doing her hair".  We have been doing pigtails and ponytails for a while now, but since she started going to pre-school we've tried to do hair-dos that stay in well all day.

Enter the braid!  YAY!

Brooke usually asks for "two braids and a pony"
Since she stands still we've branched out to other 'fancy' stuff.

long hair for braiding - pretty girl :)

our "old standby" - pigtails
fancy hair for a dinner we went to

Connor had decided to grow his hair out so it can comb to the side.
Based on the face in this photo... he's quite pleased with himself.

Happy Easter

had a little bit of a "family get-away" to Erie on Friday.
We took the kids to a hotel and it had a great pool!  They loved it - and were very worn out. ;)

While we missed Mawna's egg hunt in the morning, Saturday wouldn't feel complete without the annual trip to the mall for Chick-fil-a and a train ride!
Linlee loves Connor!

Sunday morning we went to the Easter sunrise service at church,
then went to have lunch and dinner with family - a fun day!

saying goodbye ~ July recap part 1

Moving means having to say goodbye to friends.
As excited as I was to move, saying goodbye was so sad.

These are pictures of our "last times" to music class, the library, and church.

The best neighbors ever - Mr. Don and Miss Pat.

Our moving crew!  So many friends from church came to help move all our stuff into the truck.
