Three months

Three months old on the 22nd!  Going to the doctor's to check her weight this week. :)

Time is flying by and crawling so slowly at the same time. ;)

August has been a blur.  Started with a camping trip, trip to Pittsburgh, my grandma passing away, Connor staying with his grandparents, school starting, new job at the tutoring center starting, house guests, birthday party, baptisms....

Bring it on September.  We can handle it. ;)

July part three was our Barton/Sanders/Davis/Hoffman camping weekend.  Only we didn't camp... well... some of us camped out in the backyard, some of us slept inside... and we did make camp cooker sandwiches, and we had a bonfire every night.  :)

Peter-boy!

Very close to the Codorus camping grounds is the swimming pool.  We went on Friday and had a day of fun!

Kevin and Bill went down the slides - can you see Kevin?  The top of his head is barely visible on the left slide! ;)

Brooke at two months

Brooke weighed 9 pounds and 12 ounces at her two month check up.  She is now 22 inches long!  She had become quite the smiley girl this month and Dad knows how to get the best ones out of her!  She has started trying to reach for things and also started sleeping through the night.  We have good days and bad days with her eating, but she has come a *long* way since the beginning!  We are excited to see her personality start to show ~ we love you Brooke!

July part 1

The first part of the month included a trip out to introduce Brooke to our family!

We came out on Thursday the 3rd.

Thursday we met Peter, and Aunt Alison and Uncle Kevin met Brooke!

Friday we had a cookout with the local Barton family,
and I made sure to get the four generation picture with Mom-mom B!

On Saturday we went to meet up with the Gallo family - Selah was a little excited to meet Brooke - can you tell? ;)

Connor loved swimming in the pool with Aunt Christine - the water was cold, but she did it anyway!

Sunday included a picnic at Uncle Paul's and we got another four generation picture with Mom-mom Ritter.

Monday evening we went to meet the Hoffman cousins and a very excited Aunt Chris. :)

Tuesday we came home... minus one kid... Connor got to stay with Mawna and Pap for a few extra days!

Last day of School - rewind...

Let's rewind to June 13th - Connor's last day at daycare...

He *LOVES* it there and he was blessed to have such kind and patient teachers.

this is the best I've got of her smile - she's given us a few this week!

Brooke is a month old and went to the Doctor's on Tuesday for her check up.

She is now 9 lbs and 21 inches long - both in the 40th percentile.

She and I have come a long way in the eating department and we are finally getting the hang of things!  She's a good sleeper and she recognizes our voices.  We love having her as part of our family and we're so excited to see what she does next!
