We arrived at the hospital Wednesday morning thinking that my water had broken (maybe...) and I was having contractions... left after some fluids and some monitoring... went back in Wednesday evening because baby wasn't moving much... spent the night at the hospital under observation and Thursday morning it was decided that induction would start!  Alison and Kevin were also at the hospital back in Pittsburgh preparing for the same thing - their baby was a few days late so even though our due dates were about a week apart, these babies came on the same day! :)

After just a few minutes of pushing - Brooke Lee Hoffman arrived!  A Girl!  We were surprised and excited to use our 'girl name'. 

She is 8 pounds and 18.75 inches long.  She arrived at 7:35 pm.

Connor was with Aunt Michelle and Uncle Tom and they came to the hospital to meet baby Brooke.  Grandma and Grandpa Hoffman also came to meet our sweet girl.

Friday morning we were greeted with visitors and this cutie pie had a great day!

Connor just *loves* her!  He can't get enough of her and is a very eager helper!

We are so thankful for another healthy baby - we pray that she will grow to love Jesus and know His saving grace.  We are happy she is here!

Eight Months

The nursery is coming along, and is almost complete, minus a few little details!

Spring Break!

started with a trip to the zoo with the Hoffman cousins -
Macey, Avery, Connor, Selah, Lindsey, Ethan, Kylie, Michael, and Piers. :)

Connor would have stayed and looked at this monkey for another 30 minutes - he liked the elephants and the monkeys the best he said.

Friday started with a trip to the Children's museum - with the Barton cousins.

we had lots of fun playing in the water!  Connor was cracking us up about having to walk around in his wet swimsuit!

I asked him what his favorite part was and he said golfing with Dad.

Saturday = Easter Egg Hunt with the Barton family... 3rd generation (we've got to come up with a nick-name for this group!)

lunch with Aunt Sandy and Uncle Paul - and a birdhouse from the Easter Bunny!

  Saturday also included a trip to the mall for Chick-fil-a and the train ride... but those pictures are on Bill's iPod... so I'll have to add them in later!

Easter morning - found his basket - and all the yummy treats inside!

 Sunday after church we visited Mum-Mum Ritter, but again... no pictures of that at the moment...

had lunch with Barton family and got a good family Easter picture (thanks Sanders!)

the weather was so nice - we had lots of fun playing in the backyard before and after dinner - Connor cried when it was time to leave.

Whew.  This trip wore me out! :)  I am glad we had time to visit and see everyone while we were out - next time it will be as a family of four!

Seven Months

The reason we haven't posted since Feb?

It's boring here.

We go to work/school, come home, eat dinner, play, go to bed.

Not much picture worthy action happening around here.
